Aid to the Church in Need United Kingdom

Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family of London in a conversation with ACN (UK) talks about the vital support that ACN has given in Ukraine over the decades and specifically in the last three and a half years.

Since the war began over 1 million people have been killed or injured, over 3.7 million people have been displaced from their homes, and nearly a third of households in front-line and border regions face food insecurity. The war continues and so does the suffering and uncertainty for the people of Ukraine. They need your help.

We ask you not to abandon Ukraine in this difficult time. Please support our Ukraine Appeal and our emergency and pastoral projects that are a lifeline for the children and families affected.

PUPILS RETURN TO SCHOOL WHERE CHRISTIANS FACE EXTINCTION

Pupils in 18 schools belonging to the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul in Lebanon have been given emergency support.

Thousands of children in conflict-hit countries where Christianity is facing extinction will have a place to study thanks to aid from generous ACN supporters.

Children and teenagers across Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Syria, Lebanon and other high-pressure states are returning to education supported by ACN.

ACN (UK) national director Dr Caroline Hull said: “ACN remains committed to ensuring that as many young people as possible receive quality tuition, not simply to promote education, but as part of urgent efforts to help Christian families remain in their homelands in the face of persecution, displacement, and even the threat of extinction."
