Ukraine - Thank you for your support
The Roman Catholic Parish of Saint Joseph in Dinpro
The work of ACN and the Church on the ground in Ukraine is possible thanks to the support of our benefactors. As the war in Ukraine continues the Church is working on over 600 projects to help the faithful that are suffering during this time.
Some of the challenges that are faced are failing water supplies, lack of available food, the breakdown of public transportation, and electrical power cuts that can occur at any moment for hours at a time. ACN works with the Church on projects that help overcome these issues.
Despite many being forced to flee the town of Dnipro, the Roman Catholic Parish of Saint Joseph remains open all week to those in need. Mass is attended by dozens each day, and up to 200 on Sundays, and the parish is providing emergency support and shelter for families affected by the on-going conflict.
With the support of our benefactors, we have been able to raise £12,502.68 for an emergency generator for all in need. Father Jaroslav and his parishioners are profoundly grateful to you all and have promised to keep you in their prayers!
The full story of this project can be found here, however this is just one of many stories that the faithful in Ukraine have shared about the help provided by ACN and our benefactors.
There is still so much more to be done to help our suffering brothers and sisters in Ukraine. To find out more about how your contribution can make a difference visit our appeal page here.

The Maisy Milk Rosary for Peace
Calling all grandparents, parents, teachers, catechists and youth workers!
With May, the month of the Holy Rosary fast approaching, our ACN Schools Team is excited to launch our new Maisy Milk’s Travels animation and resources showing how prayers and fundraising will help children and families in Ukraine and around the world.
Over the years, ACN’s ‘Maisy Milk’ Rosary campaign has become a firm favourite with children and especially with primary schools.
This May, we are asking schools around the country to join our national ACN Youth Rosary for Peace campaign, suitable for all primary children up to secondary Year 7. This campaign leads children
through the Joyful Mysteries, accompanied by our character ‘Maisy Milk’, named after St Margaret of Scotland. You can pledge your decades on our campaign map here.
In these difficult times prayer is a great gift to those in need – an especially those of children. Please sign up your school NOW.

Benefactor Survey - Monday 6th May deadline
We want to thank everyone who has participated in our recent benefactor survey. The survey is designed to help us understand how you as a benefactor would like to interact with us. Activities to consider include Holy Hours for persecuted Christians prayer groups and ACN retreats, to help us continue to grow as a community.
Although we have had a good response to our survey, we would love to hear from even more people around the country. To make it geographically representative, we would be especially keen to hear from people in the Dioceses of Argyll and the Isles, Dunkeld, Hexham and Newcastle, Hallam, and Wrexham. Thank you so much - we really appreciate your help with this.
Please click the link below to the ACN Benefactor Survey, which will take 5 minutes to complete. Thank you again.

ACN Appeal
Heart for Liberia – watch out for our Liberia Appeal adverts in the Catholic press.
One of the projects we have as part of our Liberia Appeal is to support the growing Christian community that does not have a place to properly worship. In the video above, we hear from Oliver, a Youth Leader at Divine Mercy Parish in Liberia as he asks for help so that they can build a house of God.
The parishioners there have made the bricks with their own hands, but need help to build them into a Church. We ask for your support in our efforts to help the faithful in one of the world's poorest companies by providing them a place where they can worship.
This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to building a church – to the glory of God and as a sign of hope for this impoverished community.
