Ukraine Appeal
Welcoming the children of war
The Handmaids of the Immaculate Virgin Mary in Lviv are looking after 30 internally displaced children from eastern Ukraine who have experienced trauma. The Sisters have converted part of their orphanage into accommodation for these children and are providing spiritual support. Women and children account for 80 percent of all internal refugees in Ukraine. Your donation can help ensure that these vulnerable children receive the shelter, food, and spiritual guidance they need during this difficult time. Please consider donating

ACN Thank You
Supporting Sisters: Thank you for making a difference
In Umoji, south-west Nigeria, the Benedictine Abbey of St Scholastica is thriving with 114 sisters. Following the Rule of St Benedict – ora et labora (prayer and work) – they support themselves by the work of their hands. And their most important source of income comes from baking unleavened wafers for the Mass – an important service for the local Church, as the Eucharist is at the heart of the Church’s life. Their old equipment was constantly breaking down, but thanks to ACN benefactors they now have a brand-new machine. Mother Mary Ruphina Chukwuka wrote to thank us: “The Sisters were delighted and we thank God for your great friendship and kindness towards us. Your immense contribution has helped us
greatly.”
